How to Log In
pbe400.org has private information so needs to be secured, but it doesn't use passwords. Instead, we have a list from MIT of every Brother of PBE and we pre-authorize the email addresses on that list to access this site. We supplement this with the email list of subscribers to several official PBE mailing lists.
When you "Log In" button in the upper right corner of the site, you'll be asked for your email address. If you give it one of the pre-registered email addresses we know about, that email address will be sent a link you can click that will log you into the site. It stores authentication information in your browser, so you probably won't need to do this again.
If you have trouble logging in it's probably because of one of two reasons:
- You may be using an email address that isn't registered with MIT, or that we don't know anything about.
- You may have clicked a box on the MIT site that tells MIT you don't want to receive email. In that case MIT won't share your email address with us.
